To my Oncers...

Hey folks, what eej up??!! Well, let's see how many oncers we have in here. Let me know in the comments. Well to all y'all, I have some good news, ONCE UPON A TIME HAS ARRIVED IN DISNEY PLUS. Now, if you go way back to my post about OUAT (I'll put the link to that post at the bottom), I edited it after a while and let you know that it's coming on Disney plus on the 18th of September after it left Netflix on the 6th. Well, I wasn't so sure if the news was real or fake but it arrived!!! I know it happened a few weeks back but I never got to share this with y'all. Sorry about the delay. But now, it's happy time! I haven't got to watch it much because school started but at least I know it's up on Disney. And if you are a Disney fan and an OUAT fan like me, you gonna have to PARTYYYY! Haha. Now, that's that. But lemme know in the comments what season and episode you're at. I just started season 7. Now, I know I'm late to find and watch the sho...

Closed.

Aww man! The GWC (Guess the Word Challenge) Part 2 is officially is closed. And as mentioned before, that means there won't be a GWC Part 3, unless it's heavily requested. Because if y'all aren't doing it, I'm afraid I can't keep putting up more. But don't worry, I have other plans for you guys. Anyways, that's that. Worry not if you couldn't do it, I have to agree they were a bit hard. But you can keep trying to guess them for fun if you want. I'll leave the link to that post and some others at the bottom. 5 Day Warning!

Hey there folks, sorry, I know I haven't blogged for a while now but the amount of homework I get is above imagination. As I said in a previous post, I've got too many things up my sleeve, one after another, one after another, so you'll probably not see me on here often. But I just wanted to get back to you cause it's been a while and I've progressed in completing half of my work, just for the week. Anyways, so since I wanted to post, I logged in and realized that I haven't received answers for the GWC Part 2 yet. I can't do anything else before I finish that. So I wanted to give y'all a reminder on this challenge and a heads up that there will only be 5 days remaining! After that, I will have to close the challenge. Another thing, if I don't get answers to GWC 2, there will not be a GWC 3 because if no one is interested in participating, why do it? I don't wanna waste your time. Okie Dokie! There you have it, no worries if you guys can't do ...

My New Laptop Case!

Image
OMG guys! I got this really cute cactus laptop/chromebook case. It's a 12-inch case for my chromebook. It's so adorable. You can't even imagine how many times I had to reconsider lol. Got it off of amazon, there's a lot of galaxy ones on there but I'm not a fan of those. I got the chromebook last year and mainly they were the same ones. I put a few in cart this month, a cute grey cat with sunglasses, a marble, a world map vintage one, and this cactus one. It's hard to pick because there aren't any pictures in the reviews, how am I suppose to know how it looks at home or in-person. Welp. Also, the cat was cute but it doesn't represent me, I'm fine with cats but I'm not a cat lover, it . . . it's just not me. So I wasn't so sure about it. The marble was just . . . too normal, marble is too common now, it's just to play safe and be liked in school (like just go with the flow, getting stuff everyone else likes) lol (jk). And then the worl...

First Day of School!

Hey there folks! I'm back. Yesterday was my first day of 9th grade and it was fun! We had two classes in the morning and two in the afternoon (online btw). I had History and JROTC in the morning. Then, Spanish and Biology in the afternoon. Each class was 45 min long. And of course, the first day of school can never be normal, can it now--ahem--? So, exactly at 12, my dad tells me we have an appointment at 1 (well 2 but we had to go early). And my classes were exactly around 1-2! Like, what?? It's the first day of school, I don't want no bad impression from my teachers, do I now (I don't)?! So, I send 'em a mail and let them know. I grab my bag with my agenda book, water bottle, phone and all, and hop in the car as I log into my class via phone during my ride. Odd, but better than nothing. And guess what happens 20 minutes later, my head hurts and I feel car sick because I'm one of those people that CANNOT read or study in the car. It just makes my head hurt. I...

Guess the Word Challenge (GWC) Winner!

Yahoo! I've finally received some answers for the Guess the Word Challenge and they were absolutely on point! The answers were exhausted, octopus, and alive. Great job! The winners are Nishi and Nimmi, congratulations (you might not see their names, they signed in as unknown, but congrats). I hope some of you other folks tried it too. I'll have a part two coming up soon. Until then!

Blog Updates

Hi everyone! How's you doing? Well, I just wanted to update you all on a certain something. My school starts tomorrow (online of course) and I may not be able to be on here too often anymore. I'll post every now and then but I won't be as consistent. Busy life's gotta resume sometime. And so, just wanted to let you know but in the meantime, I still need participants for my Guess the Word Challenge. When I get some winners for that, I can do a part 2 and three. So think about it and get to it.

Last Week of Summer!

Eeek! OMG, can you believe, summer is almost over! Like what?? Already? Welp. For me it's the last week of summer, some people's schools already started. My school starts after labor day, on the 8th. I'm kind of excited but also sad that summer is over. I'm ordering this really cool cactus agenda book from amazon. And yeah, I'm excited for the new school year, maybe workload will be less due to online school. But I wanted to say, enjoy your last few days of summer before school starts again. You see, you must enjoy things to the fullest when they're there because in summer sometimes we get bored and want school but then during school, we want summer. So enjoy both when they're there. That's why I'm quite okay with the lockdown because I'm pretty sure schools will NEVER EVER be closed for this long again. I mean, it is very rare for something like this to come across the world and have everything shut down, you may not get the chance to work at ho...

Pottermore!

Image
Every day is a day to learn something new, and today I have something just for you! Wow, that rhymed, haha. Anyways, that something is called . . . Pottermore, for any Harry Potter fans out there. Pottermore is a company founded by J.K. Rowling herself and the website has you take a quiz in order to sort you into a house. I got Ravenclaw. Then, it chooses your Patronus, your wand, and everything. It gives you so many resources like the Hogwarts newsletters, features, articles, and actors read chapters to you, you get updates in the fan club, etc. If you make an account, it's like your living in a digital wizarding world. All you Harry Potter lovers will just love--more like, looooove--this. I discovered this 2 years back and figured I would share it with you all in this blog. Make your wizarding passport, take the Pottermore House quiz with the Sorting Hat, find your Patronus, read through the wizarding world newspapers, and enjoy this digital world of magic!  Here is the link to i...

Scythe Book Review

Image
Hey guys! Wassup? I'm great. Anywho, I read a book recently, by recently I mean last year. And it was soooooo good. It is set in the far future and there are these beings named scythes. It is based on two apprentices of a scythe, who are chosen to be trained to see if they are fit for the job of being a scythe. The apprentices are normal humans, teens to be exact, and are very confused about what's going on but who cares, they were chosen. Anyways, natural death has been eliminated in this world. Scythes take control of who dies when based on their deeds and actions (and advanced tech). Part of that advanced teach and computer system is "Thunderhead" (they control this society, like our government). Thunderhead sees all. It is a very interesting book and if you like books based on the future, this is awesome. The different living style in this world really amazed me. I really think you should read it, you'll love it! Here is a picture of the book. Try it and enjoy...

Q & A Time!

Hello guys! It's time! You guys managed to bombard me with questions in just 24 hours, so here I am, ready for some Q & A. I've gathered you guys' questions from a previous post, "Q & A Prep!", and now I'll answer them. #LearnSomethingAboutMe Questions & Answers: Q1. What were your top three/five favorite parts of our visit?  *question asked by a cousin, about their visit* A1. I loved the water slide and the bike ride to the park. Q2. How many schools have you been to? A2: Five, with highschool starting it'll be 6. Q3. What kind of work do you have? A1. I write, I do schoolwork, I have extracurricular work, and more. I do a lot of my own work like writing books, songs, poems, etc. I like to keep occupied but also have some fun. Q4. What's your favorite place to go to? A1. Well, one would probably have to be Canada. I've been there thrice, I especially loved Vancouver and Toronto. Another would have to be India, been there plenty of time...

Help a Friend Challenge!

Hello friends, nowadays we are slowly realizing the value of life more due to corona. So, let's keep building our character by helping those in need. We can start by doing the smallest of deeds. Simple, but helpful and good deeds. So, I wanted to start this 'Help a Friend Challenge'. There are no winners and you don't have to do it. But it's just a kind act. What you do is, well, it's in the name, help a friend. It doesn't necessarily have to be a friend because we are mostly at home with our families due to lockdown. So you can start by helping your sibling or parents. Just help them out when they need it and I'm sure they'll love that. Through this challenge I want you to let out your kindness and let's see how many good deeds you can do today, tomorrow, for the next week, next month, year, forever . . . I mean it doesn't hurt to be kind forever. Haha, but anyway, just try the challenge. And if you would like to share your good deeds, comm...

Feedback!

Ahoy there folks! Today makes it my third day starting this blog. And I would love some feedback, as would many other bloggers out there. So let me know in the comments what I can improve on, what you like about this blog, what content you'd like to see, what content you enjoyed already, etc. So tell me, what can I do better and what have you enjoyed so far in this blog? Comment down below and I'll take any appropriate feedback. I'm open to suggestions and would love to hear what you say.

My NHD Website & Story

Hey friends! So, last year I had to do this big project including research of over 20 sites, annotated bibliography writing, etc. and it was all for something called NHD. It stands for National History Day. They give you a theme and you must choose a topic that fits that theme. Last year's theme was Breaking Barriers. Just saying, this is a worldwide thing, many countries have schools that participate in this. I chose Mahatma Gandhi as my topic and wrote a thesis and did the research for each control and had an intro and conclusion, etc. It's a side project you do in History class while learning the history content and syllabus. So it goes on throughout the year. Then, we had to pick a project type. Like a website, performance, documentary, etc. I chose a website. By the way, the year before (the year before was a practice project, to prepare for the actual NHD) we used Weebly to create our project. But now, they made their own website maker called NHD WebCentral, which was kin...

Q & A Prep!

Hola amigos! So I wanted to do something new, and I thought what about a Q & A session. Well, for that I'm gonna need some questions. So, how this works is, just leave your questions in the comments, anything you want to know about me and if it is interesting and appropriate, I will answer them in another blog post. Let's try and get as many questions as possible onto this post and I will take 10 of those and answer them. When? Well, I will give you one to two days' time, and after that, I'll start answering those ten questions on the new post. Stay tuned! And ask away!
